My name is Judith Raymond; I’m a wife, a mother of two wonderful gifts from GOD, Katelyne Bouvier Raymond 12 yrs. old and Zachery DeMarco Raymond 8 yrs. old. I’m the second oldest of four siblings, born in Brooklyn from two Haitian immigrant parents. Brooklyn is where I grow up, got my education and resided with my father Claude Louis Leveque, until I got married and moved to New Jersey in the early 2000. I spent most of my professional carrier working in Advertising, Post-production until 2010, when I had a calling and was led to my life’s journey. As a Haitian American, I feel a sense of duty to serve in Haiti and make a difference in the lives of the people of Haiti. Also serving in Haiti is very personal to me; my mother Andree Rose St-Hilaire is buried there a piece of my heart belongs to the country of Haiti. Personally, I now have the chance to embrace my culture that I did not fully understand in my younger years. Serving Haiti is a humbling experience for me; it definitely makes me a better person and gives me great hope for the future.
