Pat Stringer, OP entered the Sisters of St. Dominic of Caldwell, NJ in 1969 after completinga B.A. degree at Caldwell College in Mathematics and Religious Studies. She has taught in New Jersey, Abaco, Bahamas and in Quito, Educador. She has served as Vocation Director and on the Leadership Team of her community. She was the Assistant Director of Hispanic Apostolate for the Trenton Diocese. From 1991- 1999 she ministered at Caldwell University, Caldwell, as a teacher and then as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. In 1991 she became the Principal of Fe y Alegria Espiriti Santo, a public school located about 2 hours west of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in El Cruce de Arroyo Hondo. She studied at Ball State University where she received a M.A. in Mathematics/Industrial Education and also at Barry University where she received a M.S. in Telecommunications. Sister Pat has served on Boards of Trustees for her community’s sponsored works. She has been awarded the Veritas Award, which is presented, by the Alumni Association of Caldwell University, Dominican Sister’s Peace Initiative and the Barry University Alumni Recognition Award. She is presently the Promoter of Dominican Life for her community. She has been a member of HSNNE for 4 years.
